My name is Xenia. I was raised in Idaho in a college town, got married to my high school sweetheart in 2009 and lived in several places all over the U.S. thanks to the Army. My husband is now out of military service and we have settled in the Bluegrass area of Kentucky.

I am a Jesus follower, but not the fundamentalist kind, more like the radical/progressive kind.

I collect gnomes and do crafty things, especially crochet, knit, cross stitch and collage. I'm also a bookworm and a runner.

We have three whippets (born in 2014, 2015, and 2016). I post a lot of photos.

In an emergency situation, every second counts.
I participate in the LJ Abuse Emergency Contact Information First Post program.
